20191015:  Sarah Dolven headshot (Shana Sureck Photography)Sarah’s practice at Etheredge & Steuer focuses on representing clients in estate and long-term care planning as well as probate administration, guardianships and conservatorships.

A practicing attorney since 1998, Sarah focused on criminal post-conviction litigation until recently when she decided to rekindle her long-held interest in estate planning and elder law. She will complete her Master’s degree (LLM) in Estate Planning and Elder Law at Western New England School of Law in the spring of 2019.

Sarah is a member of the Pioneer Valley Estate Planning Council, the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA) and the Massachusetts Chapter of NAELA, as well as the Hampshire County Bar Association.  She has served as a board member on the Erving School Union #28 Community Network for Children Program, the Amherst-Pelham Regional School Committee, and as Chair of the Leverett School Committee.  She enjoys running, cycling and singing in a funk and soul band.

Sarah received her undergraduate degree cum laude from Trinity College in Hartford Connecticut in 1991 with a major in American studies and a double minor in women’s studies and literary writing.  She received her law degree from Western New England College School of Law in 1998.

Sarah was born in Albany, New York in 1969 and was raised in the Pioneer Valley.
